From seven students in Ber Sarai to a nationwide education ecosystem
MADE EASY Group is an education group built around a simple yet powerful purpose: to empower individuals through quality education, experienced guidance, and meaningful learning opportunities.
The journey began in 2001 when Mr. B. Singh (Ex. IES), an IIT (BHU) alumnus, chose to leave a prestigious government career and dedicate himself to education. Starting with just seven students in Ber Sarai, New Delhi, the journey that began with engineering competitive examination preparation gradually evolved into a broader education ecosystem.
Today, the group operates across multiple educational verticals, each serving a distinct learning need while remaining connected by a common philosophy of quality, excellence, guidance, and social responsibility — from helping engineering aspirants prepare for competitive examinations to guiding civil services aspirants, publishing learning resources, nurturing young learners, and creating new-age skill development opportunities.
2001
The Foundation
Mr. B. Singh, an IIT (BHU) alumnus, left his IES career to start MADE EASY with seven students in a modest room in Ber Sarai, New Delhi. It began as a coaching effort for UPSC Engineering Services Examination aspirants.
2002 – 2003
Expanding the Curriculum
Coaching extended to Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics & Telecommunication streams for ESE, followed by the introduction of GATE coaching, including for Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology.
2004 – 2006
Reaching Every Aspirant
Distance/postal learning courses were introduced to serve students beyond classroom access, and a corporate office was established at Kalu Sarai, New Delhi.
2005
Diversifying Into Publishing
MADE EASY Publications was launched with “General Studies MADE EASY” as its first title. The publishing arm has since grown to over 60 titles, widely available through leading bookstores and online platforms.
2007 – 2016
National Expansion
New centers opened in Hyderabad (the group's first step into South India), Bhopal, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Pune, and Kolkata, alongside consistent year-on-year growth in ESE and GATE selections. The group's contribution to total ESE selections rose steadily from 34% in 2006 to over 84% by 2016.
2013
A Commitment to Society
The group launched its charitable trust, MADE EASY FOR YOU, supporting causes in healthcare, sanitation and hygiene, education, and women's and children's welfare — and extending relief support during national calamities such as the Uttarakhand floods, Kashmir floods, UP hailstorms, and Chennai floods.
2016
Nurturing Young Minds
MADE EASY Preschool was launched to promote holistic early childhood development.
2017
Two New Verticals
A landmark year: the Group launched NEXT IAS to serve the growing aspirations of civil service candidates, and established MADE EASY School, a progressive K-12 institution designed with world-class infrastructure to nurture learners at every stage.
2018 – 2025
Sustained Excellence
Across GATE and ESE examinations year after year, MADE EASY students have consistently secured All India Rank 1 across multiple engineering streams, with hundreds of selections in the Top 100 each year — including 197 of 206 ESE vacancies secured in 2024, and All India Rank 1 achievers across CE, ME, EE, ES, and IN streams in GATE 2025.

Mr. B. Singh, an alumnus of IIT (BHU), founded MADE EASY in 2001 after qualifying for GATE, ESE, and several PSU examinations. He subsequently joined Central Engineering Services before choosing to dedicate his knowledge and experience to education — leaving a prestigious government career to help young engineers develop their abilities and prepare for competitive examinations, starting with a small group of students in Ber Sarai, New Delhi.
Under his leadership, MADE EASY evolved from an engineering examination preparation institute into a broader education group spanning competitive examinations, civil services, publishing, school education, skill development, and social initiatives. His philosophy continues to emphasize quality education, strong guidance, continuous learning, and the development of capable individuals.
